Riverhurst Wind Project

Status: Advanced Development

The Riverhurst Wind Project is located approximately 18 km south-southwest of Riverhurst, Saskatchewan. Confederation Power currently owns 320 acres of land at the site with an additional 800 acres under land option. Onsite wind data has been collected since 2006, the environmental field work has been largely completed, and a preliminary interconnection study has been provided. We expect to bid Riverhurst into a future SaskPower RFP.

Elrose Wind Project

Status: Early Development

The Elrose Wind Project is located approximately 5 km south of Elrose, Saskatchewan. The project is located on an area of undulating hills and open flat terrain. The land is secured for wind development purposes until 2011 under a surface access and lease agreement with the local landowner. Onsite wind data has been collected since 2006. The project obtained a favourable preliminary system interconnection study from SaskPower 2005. We expect to bid Elrose into a future SaskPower RFP.
